Caramel Sauce:

  1. In a small pan over medium heat, add sugar and water.
  2. Cook without stirring until the sugar is dissolved, then boil until thick with a dark amber colour.
  3. Remove pan from heat then immediately add the cream and butter.
  4. Whisk until combined then season with salt to taste.
  5. Set aside until ready to use.

Hot Caramel Macchiato

  1. Line the inside of your cup with the caramel.
  2. Heat the milk and mix until frothy before setting aside
  3. Dissolve the coffee mix in hot water and pour into a mug
  4. Pour the hot forty milk until almost full
  5. Drizzle some caramel on the top
